Drovers Cottage, South Erradale
This single-storey and generously proportioned cottage is situated in the scattered township of South Erradale, 25 minutes scenic drive from Gairloch. Built on the site of an old drover’s house, it is one of the most peaceful holiday cottages you could find and is greatly appreciated by our visitors seeking a quiet, peaceful holiday, although it is close to two of the finest beaches in the area. It enjoys mountain and sea views, with stunning sunsets seen from the lounge looking towards Skye and the Outer Isles.
The garden is fully enclosed and offers the most peaceful surroundings. Red Point beach with its magnificent dunes is about 3 miles away and there is a walk straight from the cottage across to Badachro, passing between the lochans to the Badachro Inn. From Red Point there is an interesting 7 mile coastal walk to Diabeg.
The Gairloch area in North West Scotland is outstanding for its walking and climbing opportunities with the renowned Torridon Mountains only an hour away via a delightful scenic drive. Gairloch offers many facilities including golf, on a beachside 9-hole course, sea and loch fishing, boat hire and organised boat trips on its sea loch to enjoy the bountiful wildlife, including seals and whales. You should not miss a visit to the National Trust of Scotland’s beautiful Inverewe Gardens a short drive north from Gairloch, where you can enjoy year-round magnificent displays. Gairloch also has a prize-winning Museum illustrating the local history of the area.

Large living room with comfortable seating, TV and DVD player and open fire.
Well equipped kitchen/diner with fridge, electric oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave, freezer and washer/drier. Also provided are a bread maker, Barista coffee machine, Coffee bean grinder, and Healthy Dry Air Fryer.
Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bath/overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
Separate shower room with wash basin and WC.
Two further bedrooms, each with two single beds.
Heating is provided by the new modern Fischer heating system.
There is a pleasant grassed garden and ample off road parking.
