Shore House Two is located in the small village of Badachro, on the south side of Gairloch bay and is ideally situated overlooking Badachro bay just yards from the shore and enjoys magnificent views of the bay with all its boats. Otters, seals, eagles, herons and pine martins can all be spotted from the cottage. The cottage sleeps 5 and adjoins Shore House One, and the two together would make an ideal base for a large party.
The cottages are next door to the Badachro Inn and were in fact built as an extension to the Inn in the 1970s, the two cottages originally providing extra accommodation for the Inn, as well as a top class restaurant. (No Two is the nearest to the pub). Today they provide a spacious, comfortable home from home which welcome dogs, lovers of the outdoors, boat owners, walkers/climbers and anyone seeking a magical break in the West Highlands. With the Inn next door and plenty of superb beaches, hills, rivers and lochs in the local area, the two cottages are the ideal base for groups of walkers, climbers or get together of families and friends.
Badachro is a former fishing village, which is now a haven for yachts and small boats. The pub in the village is lively and friendly for lunch, drinks or an evening out, probably the best pub in the area. https://www.badachroinn.com/ There are several excellent beaches in the area and this is an ideal choice for walking, fishing or just relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquility of Wester Ross. The beautiful Red Point beaches are only 6 miles south of the cottage and pony trekking is also available here. Within a short drive, Gairloch provides a wealth of activities, including golf, fishing and whale watching cruises, and there are some excellent shops and restaurants here. Further afield lies the whole of the west coast of Scotland just waiting to be explored.
