This bungalow is located in a peaceful area of scattered houses and crofts close to the village of Strath on the north side of Gairloch bay. There are many local facilities within easy reach - a pub and restaurant, shops and cafes.

From the hill on which it sits,the bungalow overlooks Gairloch bay with panoramic views of the Torridons and the Isle of Skye over the bay. It is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is centrally placed to visit the dramatic Wester Ross mountains and seascapes. Local amenities include golf, hill walking and climbing, fishing, pony trekking and nature cruises, or you may just wish to sit on one of the many sandy beaches and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife.

All the accommodation is on the ground floor. The lounge, dining room and kitchen area is open plan and enjoy panoramic views of the Torridon mountains, Gairloch beach and bay and the Isle of Skye. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave and there is a colour TV with Freeview in the lounge area. A double bedroom and a shower room complete the accommodation..

Special Notes

We regret that neither pets nor smoking is permitted.
The bungalow is heated by night storage heaters, backed up by electric heaters. Electricity is chargeable extra by a £1 coin meter.
Bed linen is provided but guests must bring their own towels.
Cot and high chair available.
Large shared enclosed garden area mainly laid to grass and ample parking space.
The nearest shop, pub and restaurant are in Strath village, about half a mile away.
Available Easter to November.

Directions

Approaching Gairloch from the south on the A832, drive through the village until you reach a left turn opposite McColls shop. Turn left here onto the B8021. Follow this road along the sea front until you reach a right turn, directly after the Millcroft Hotel. Turn right here and drive up the hill to almost the end of the road (approx. half a mile). You will see 16 Strath on your left.
