Birchwood is a high-quality self-catering apartment that sleeps 4 and is located near the harbour in the beautiful village of Gairloch. It has been added to the original estate house to provide visitors with ideal accommodation while visiting this area of outstanding natural beauty. The house and apartment lie in an elevated position, affording spectacular views across the harbour towards the Isle of Skye in the distance. The apartment is attached to the owners home but it is ensured that full privacy is afforded to all guests.
Gairloch is a superb base from which to explore the wonderful coastal scenery and mountain ranges. There are also a good range of local shops and good hotels to eat out in. This part of Gairloch is particularly pretty and a very popular location for visitors, and visitors will find plenty to do in the immediate vicinity without the need to travel far afield. It is less than 10minutes walk to Gairloch beach, the golf course and the harbour from where you can go sea fishing, sailing or on a wildlife tour. Flowerdale Glen is a short walk away and provides many lovely walks and The Old Inn will quench your thirst after walking with a fine selection of real ales. Pony trekking is also available in Flowerdale.
Ground floor - modern kitchen, equipped with electric oven, gas hob, fridge,
washing machine and microwave. Shower room with electric shower, toilet and
wash basin. Bedroom with large bunk beds.
First floor - Lounge / dining room with windows overlooking the garden and
the harbour - comfortably furnished with 22 inch LCD TV (channels 1 - 4
only) and DVD player and music system. Double bedroom refurbished 2009 with
new quality pocket-sprung double bed with views over the harbour. A travel
cot is available. Private fenced in garden with a large deck, lawn and
flower beds. Ample parking.

Storage and electric convector heating. Electricity is included in the rent.
One pet is welcome.
Smoking is not permitted in the house.
Bed linen and towels are provided at no extra charge.
Shop, pub and restaurants all within 5 minutes walk.

Directions
Entering Gairloch from the south, pass the entrance to the Gairloch Highland Lodge and the entrance to Birchwood is the next turning on the right.
